DuPage Angler Little Toadfish and Princess Toadfish were very excited when they heard that their Uncle Marty was going to take them bass fishing last Sunday. Little Toadfish and his sister have caught big bass before and have been featured in the DuPage Angler Catch Of The Day section but this is the first time that Little Toadfish landed a bass in VERY thick moss and weeds.

Bass anglers of all ages have a difficult time landing big, largemouth bass in heavy cover. DuPage Angler Marty Rogers overheard some veteran anglers at the Naperville Park District pond comment that Little Toadfish handled himself and the beast like a pro and they thoroughly enjoyed watching him bring the fish in and gently release it so it can get even bigger!

I LOVE the bent rod picture. That's frame-able. Nice job on both ends of the camera.

Nice hog big man; you've convinced me on the frog baits. I'm going to order some tonight in fact because I haven't really had a blow-up kind of strike before, mine are always under the water. Gotta get me some of these....

NICE Job Lil' Toadfish!!!

I've never caught a bass on a frog lure so you've got me beat there!

You're learning from a great fisher-father though so you and Princess-TF should turn out just fine!

Way to go Little Toadfish! It was really awesome seeing you handle that beast of a bass!
