 Between Classes

DuPage Angler News Room - Lisle, IL

I had about 30 minutes today in between classes to get out to a couple Lisle ponds because they were the closest bodies of water to campus I could find. I've fished both before with very little luck, but I figured I might as well give it a try. I ended up catching 3, with two pretty good sized bass. One was caught on a KVD Bluegill Swim Jig tipped with a big hammer trailer, and the other two were caught on a black and blue brush hog.

I think Marty and Patrick, the founders of this great site, will appreciate these bass the most. Both these fish are evidence that their old stomping grounds are still producing some really quality fish.

The first was a little under 3lbs. and 16".
