Date Of My Catch:05-19-2014

Caught 6 or 7 bass at Patterson in the evening.  Two were ok, rest were less than 12".  Also caught one tree.

Well don't give up on the frog, two of the bass I caught today in the other post I caught on a black Spro Frog. Smashing it through the weeds, letting it sit for a minute every so often, or steady jerk-jerk retrieve all the way. Just vary it up, eventually something will eat it :)

Nice fishing! Great to see that action is picking at Patterson. I was in my kayak there a few weeks ago, and NADA. Time for a return trip.

Swim jig, brown and black with a chartreuse mister twister trailer. I also caught a few on a spinnerbait as well.

glad you had some success there. Patterson is also a great top water place when things warm up a little.

My only local fishing outing last year was to Patterson with the fly rod. Caught a fish on the very first cast and probably caught 20 more that day using little topwater poppers. Was a lot of fun for sure. The lake is very very fishable right now from shore.

It was a Spro Frog in the tree, figured I could haul my ass up there for 10 bucks hehe.
