DuPage Angler On Early Ice For Panfish

Headed out to a pond early in the morning for my first time on ice this year, and it was a success! I caught 10 gills, and 2 bass. One was decent. Then we headed to a different pond and ended up with 1 crappie, and 2 very pretty warmouth. Ice was a solid 2 inches every where. most fish were hugging the bottom and took aggressive jigging to get off. I caught the bass on a large tungsten jig and a jumbo wedgee. The gills and warmouth were on a Maki plastics scudi. Have fun on the ice this year, and don't go swimming!

Very nice! If the ice is thick enough then cool...I really like that warm mouth.
