My yak's all ready for the trout opener. New Garmin Echo 100 fishfinder installed; anchor trolley and rod holder, too. License expires in a couple of days, so need to renew it, and paya dd salmon and inland trout fees.

hahaha! I could have testify that you only kept 5. I was there.

BTW, I think Marty's holding back on us. He's probable got a 170lb Nile Perch in his basement.

The trout limit is 5 not six. Here is proof i did not break the law marty!

Anglers, get ready for the annual spring trout season, which opens on April 6 at 6 a.m. Silver Lake at Blackwell, Pickerel Lake at Pratt’s Wayne Woods and Grove Lake at Wood Dale Grove forest preserves will all be stocked with rainbow trout at an average of 1 – 1.25 pounds. In order to accommodate the stocking, these three lakes are now closed to all fishing and will remain closed until opening day. And, bring your young anglers ages 15 and under to a special free preseason event just for them, “Trout Fishing for Kids” on Saturday, March 30 from 8 a.m. to noon at Wood Dale Grove.

Couple of technical glitches but overall it went well. The problem of transferring the live calls was fixed by simply rebooting the audio streamer! Oh well I hope you enjoyed it.
