Those fingerings have grown up and become some very nice smallies!

I am so happy the DuPage is as clean as it is now. I feel a connection to my father whenever I fish it. Especially in downtown Naperville!

For those of you that listened to the show:
Daniel,
Thank you for contacting the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County. According to our ecology staff, first stockings along the West Branch of the DuPage River were:
August 1996 – 27,000 fingerlings
July 1997 – 26,000 fingerlings
August 1997 – 18,000 fingerlings
Please let me know if I can assist with anything else. Happy fishing!
Cordially,
Bonnie Olszewski

I had fun too. If I recall that was the show that Pondboy had a 20 piece about wading, then I chatted about Dutch Oven Cooking, then we continued chatting about wading.

That led to Pondboy getting a text from me about wading the next day and the rest is history.

Great show guys! Can I be on the show even though I live in Iowa? I fish for small mouth on the streams and rivers in North East Iowa. I am a hillbilly but I love Dupage Angler. I get to Dupage about once a year.
