Windy Day Bass

DuPage Angler News Room - by DuPage Angler Wbbaseball

After hanging out with a couple of friends, one mentioned to me that we could fish in the pond in her backyard. When we got there I was very skeptical because (1.) It was extremely windy and hard to get a good cast and (2.) The pond looked as if nothing could ever live in it. After 5 or 6 casts, I caught my first small bass and it just looked perfect in coloring and was pretty fat. The very next cast, I got a huge hit not that far from the shore and it didn't take me long to get him in. I was not expecting a fish like that in a pond that was stained brown.

Only got to fish that pond for half an hour before being dragged off to do other things. Hopefully I will be able to fish there again in the near future.
Caught on a red and black spinner. 22in. ??#
